Condition Guide

Vintage pieces each have their own story and a previous life.  Along with that comes general wear and tear from everyday use.

Some of our pieces are up to 40 years old!  Examples of what you can expect to find on a vintage piece: fading hardware, water marks on vachetta, surface scratches, discoloration, dryness, surface cracking on leather, sticky zipper etc.  We do our best to clean and condition each piece before sending it out the door.

Below is a simple guide to assist you when looking at our condition grading: 

Excellent	Like new, or close to new condition. No visible flaws to note.
Great	Very good condition, with minor wear or flaws.
Good	Fully functional and is showing some general wear or flaws, but is still in good condition.
Fair	Fully functional, but is showing visible signs of wear and flaws.
Vintage	The item is over 30+ years old.
Vintage Great	Excellent condition for its age, is fully functioning, and showing minor signs of wear.
Vintage Good	Good condition for its age, is fully functioning, and showing some general wear throughout.
Vintage Fair	Fair condition and is showing visible signs of its age, but is still fully functioning.
